We provide services to clients located in countries all over the world. When processing payments, we try to accommodate our clients as much as possible. Our payment methods are explained in more detail below.

Payment by Cryptocurrency

From October 2022, we now accept payment in cryptocurrency. Specifically, you can pay in Bitcoin (BTC), LiteCoin (LTC), Dash (DASH), Z cash (ZEC), Bitcoin gold (BTG), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), or Tether (USDT), and in exchange, we receive GEL.

Payment takes place through the platform of CityPay.io. The process is easy:

  1. Once you tell us that you wish to pay in cryptocurrency, we will initiate the payment.
  2. You will receive an E-mail Order.
  3. To process the payment, you will need to click “Pay Order”.
  4. Then you choose among the available cryptocurrencies and scan the QR code to finalize the payment.

Our team is always ready to provide further information.

Payment from a Georgian Bank Account

Due to Georgian regulations (Article 34 (2) of the Law of Georgia on the National Bank), payments made in Georgia (e.g., from a Georgian bank account to a Georgian bank account) should be in GEL. When making such transfers, please make sure to include the invoice # in the description field.

Check out our article on Best Georgian Banks for Expats.

Payment from a Foreign Bank Account

While being outside of Georgia, you can make payments from a foreign bank account in currencies other than GEL. Such payments are more complicated as they take more time to be processed and banking fees are higher. Regardless of this, let us know if you need to pay in USD or EUR and we will try to accommodate.

Using an online transfer service like Wise (see below) makes payments from a foreign currency into GEL significantly easier, and is recommended compared to making a wire transfer.

Our Bank Account Details

We have recently changed our bank account details. Please find the updated version below:

Our Bank Name:Bank of Georgia
Our Bank Address:29a Gagarin street, Tbilisi 0160, Georgia
SWIFT:BAGAGE22
Beneficiary:ExpatHub Legal and Tax LLC
Account:GE24BG0000000538406056
Intermediary Bank (USD):Citibank N.A., New York, USA; SWIFT: CITIUS33
Intermediary Bank (EUR):Commerzbank, Frankfurt, Germany; SWIFT: COBADEFF

The bank account details can also be found in your invoice, provided by us.

Wise Payment

Another payment method is a wise payment. You can easily, and typically more cheaply than most banks, send foreign currency with an online transfer service, which will automatically be converted to GEL. This can be done through Wise.com (formerly TransferWise), where you can load USD, EUR, or other currencies and send them directly to GEL in order to transfer to the bank account detailed above.

You can check out how to send money with Wise and how sending money to Georgia works.

Payment by Credit/Debit Card

We can accept payment via card terminal in person, at our offices, before your appointment at the Public Service Hall, notary, bank, etc. While this payment method is most convenient, on rare occasions, banks experience technical difficulties.

For online card payments, options are still somewhat limited in Georgia, especially for foreign cards, but we hope that new solutions will be in place in the upcoming year.

Please contact us at info@expathub.ge if you have any questions related to payment processing.
