Saturday 7th August 2021 – Vines & Mountains Food & Wine Tour To Telavi (Kakheti)

- Visit a high class vineyard, taste aged qvevri (clay amphorae) wines and eat excellent homestyle traditional cuisine.
- Meet other expats and explore wine country together.
- Meet the winemaker and taste his wines at a micro-producing (<10,000 bottles per year) artisan winery. Learn about Georgia’s 8000 year history of winemaking – the oldest on Earth.
- Stop in for a drink at a home qvevri production workshop & meet the qvevri builder.
- Visit a traditional local market and sample unique cheese and other artisan products.
Discover Alaverdi monastery, the longest continuous wine production in Georgia (since 1011).

Sunday 25th July 2021 – Lazy Wine Pool Party Tour Kakheti
Operated by our partner: Eat This! Food & Wine Tours
- Spend the morning visiting a local artisan winemaker and their marani (wine cellar), tasting their wines (2 wines + chacha) at their family home.
- Spend the afternoon at a lovely winery, by the pool. Taste 4+ Georgian wines. Choose your favorite and get 1 bottle (included) to enjoy with lunch and pool time, or to take home.
- Meet other expats and drink wine by the pool.
- Enjoy a casual lunch of specially prepared, elevated modern & traditional Georgian dishes, includes veal / pork / beef (vegetarian options available on advanced request).
- Relax in the fresh country air, with minimal driving (about 1 hour) from Tbilisi.
